Brad Dodge

Dodge founded the agency in 2001 with a belief that healthcare companies of all sizes and specialties must have compelling, professional brands to compete effectively and grow in a sustainable way. He began his career selling practice management systems to physician practices in the early '80s, and has held positions in sales management, product management, corporate marketing and advertising. Dodge has worked with more than 250 organizations that sell products and services to the healthcare industry.

Brian Parrish

Parrish is a veteran of the healthcare industry and has been with Dodge since the company was founded in 2001. He oversees the agency’s entire account services function and works closely with team leads to develop and successfully execute integrated communications programs. Experience in both the corporate and agency settings allows Parrish to provide his clients with the strategic and tactical direction needed to achieve goals such as increased sales and stronger brand awareness. He has been named one of the nation's top individual practitioners as part of PRSourcesCode's "Top Tech Communicators Awards" for five straight years and was a member of the HIMSS Public Relations Advisory Board.

Elisabeth Deckon

Deckon brings experience in healthcare communications, media relations and brand marketing to her role at Dodge. As senior vice president, she serves as the chief strategist for her team, overseeing many of the firm's longest tenured clients as well as some of its most established brands. Throughout her career, she has managed a number of successful, award-winning communications programs for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Deckon's extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry and in-depth experience in the B2B space enables her to develop a true understanding of her clients' needs and provide the strategic counsel and oversight needed to achieve their unique business objectives.

Chowning Johnson

Johnson acts as a strategic advisor to clients that offer a wide range of clinical and operational technologies and services across numerous care settings. Joining Dodge in 2007, she has consistently generated measurable results for clients through the oversight of critical marketing and media relations campaigns. Johnson's in-depth understanding of healthcare enables her to help clients reach target audiences through development of sound strategies and tactics that are based on tightly integrated PR, marketing and social media initiatives. With a knack for uncovering differentiators and unique angles that shape messaging and brand attributes, clients rely on Johnson to realize their business objectives such as education, awareness and lead generation.

Jerold Cooper

Cooper, CPA, J.D., has served as controller and CFO of Dodge since 2002 and has an extensive background of financial experience in the healthcare sector. Prior to working at Dodge, he was the vice president at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia, and he has also held various positions with Charter Medical Corporation.

Crystal Friend 

As an accomplished senior marketer and communications professional with over 10 years of experience in the specialty pharma and biotech sectors, Friend offers strategic expertise to identify market needs and translate insights into actionable strategies that consistently deliver across business values. Her experience includes new product launches; campaigns ranging from repositioning to life-cycle management and branding across multiple categories; spanning consumer and B2B audiences within healthcare. Friend also provides expertise in fostering consumer advocacy and professional association partnerships. She was recently recognized for contributing outstanding achievement and innovation in healthcare marketing by PM360 Magazine as one of 2014’s Trailblazer Award recipients.

Jill Gardner 

Gardner brings nearly 25 years of professional writing experience to the position of copywriting director at Dodge Communications. She is responsible for managing a team of seasoned copywriters and ensuring all content reflects the right message for the right audience – no matter how complicated the subject. As a writer, editor and publisher for healthcare B2B publications, Gardner has covered an endless array of topics pertaining to the healthcare industry.

Human Resources Generalist

Michelle Johnson 

Johnson is a seasoned human resources professional with experience in a variety of industries including auto insurance, manufacturing and healthcare consulting. Throughout her career, Johnson has served as the sole HR practitioner or as part of a larger HR team in managerial roles. At Dodge, Johnson is responsible for managing and organizing human resources activities including employee relations, benefits administration, and policy and procedure development. Johnson is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Leslie Kirk 

As an account director, Kirk combines marcomm strategies with a firm understanding of healthcare technology to ensure client campaigns resonate with target audiences and support distinct business objectives. She leads national initiatives that establish consistent messaging and visibility among providers, payers and educators—helping clients to successfully stay ahead of the competition, increase market share and drive brand awareness. Kirk brings a strong agency background in PR, social media and integrated communications, and strives to continually present clients with fresh ways to connect with key stakeholders.

Laura Larsen

Larsen joins the team from London, England, where she became a seasoned communications expert working across a variety of global healthcare PR campaigns. Her diverse background includes experience in the fields of healthcare IT, cardiology, ophthalmology, diagnostics and more. As an account director, Larsen assumes responsibility for providing strategic guidance on her accounts, enabling her clients to refine their messaging and achieve their end goals. Her campaigns have helped clients to achieve share price growth, drive website traffic and foster new relationships with key opinion leaders. Among other capabilities, Larsen is well-versed in public and media relations, content development, social media and lead generation.

Kat McDavitt

McDavitt provides strategic counsel and planning for clients across the healthcare spectrum. Her knowledge of the healthcare industry spans both clinical and administrative technologies and innovations—as well as professional services—in the patient, physician, institutional and payer markets. McDavitt has advanced the positions of both large and small companies, ranging from agile start-ups to large, publicly-traded corporations. With an eye on industry regulatory activity and a depth of experience in media relations, social and marketing strategy, McDavitt works alongside account teams to position clients to achieve business goals—whether that be steady growth, near-term funding to bring innovations to market, exit or public offering.

Jenny Orr

Orr is responsible for managing Dodge's creative team in order to maintain the integrity and quality of work produced. Orr has more than 15 years of experience and spent 10 years in New Zealand as the associate creative director for Robbins Brandt Richter and Rapport Advertising where she managed creative campaigns for a variety of clients. She has received numerous awards for her work recognizing her creativity and expertise in direct and integrated marketing campaigns as well as her graphic design skills in all forms of media.

Nicole Wojno

Wojno is a seasoned B2B marketing professional who is responsible for executing all of Dodge’s unique integrated communications programs to reach the healthcare IT vendor audience. In her role, she oversees the development and implementation of support materials and services for all marketing, communications and public relations needs. As director, Wojno manages the efforts of the marketing team and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the company. Wojno uses her expertise in content creation, lead nurturing and digital marketing to achieve Dodge’s goals of increasing brand awareness, thought leadership and demand generation.

Michael Wood 

Wood has spent over ten years in various areas of online management with roles including quality assurance manager, implementation manager and project manager. At Dodge, Wood is responsible for managing the digital services team where he continues to fine tune the processes and maintain an efficient team that utilizes the latest technologies.
